Somtimes things do work out well.

I think I like taking English 101 as a lab. It gives me an hour two days a week that I have to write a page. It’s done wonders for my productivity. 😀

My poor protag, Mark, is riding in his Grandma’s truck back to her house. The phone call for her to come get him woke her up and she wants to know why her son didn’t tell her Mark was coming back. Mark is going to have to explain when they get there. He just realized that he probably should have called her instead of just showing up at the bus station/bowling alley at 7:00 a.m. heehee

Mark felt guilty. He didn’t mean to wake Grandma up. He hadn’t asked Greyhound what time he’d get to Yellow Valley, just when he could leave the soonest.  And now that he was here with Grandma, he felt ashamed he ran away without telling anyone. Maybe he should’ve called Grandma from the Portland station, but he didn’t think of it. That layover had been full of finding food. Human food was easy to come by at midnight, cat food hadn’t been.
