Invite received and all travel arrangements are made, so I can announce that I will be a pro at CoKocon at the end of August. August 30th to September 3rd specifically, so if you live in the Phoenix area, please come see me. Still arranging things with TANSTAAFLPress, but I should have books with me to sell, too. Of course I’ll happily sign a book you already purchased.

That there is a big gap in the dates of these posts. That is because I switched from Livejournal to WordPress because not only did a Russian company take over Livejournal and wants me to agree to a new terms of service (TOS), but the Official TOS is in Russian which I can’t read. Oh they give you a translated version, but warn that it is not “official” therefore not binding.
Since I can’t log in to get my earlier posts unless I accept their TOS. I am letting it all go, because there is no way I feel comfortable agreeing to something I can’t even read.
Hi guys, I will be at Norwescon 40 this year as a panelist (Squeee!). If you’ll be there too, here’s my scheduled panels so you can come by and say Hi! 🙂

Whether that’s a good thing or not, I’ll have to tell you later. My editor asked that I take up blogging again, even though I’m on Twitter and Facebook. So Hi!
I hope to blog once a week as my first goal. I think that’s more reasonable for me since blogging everyday was too difficult, and the last thing I want to do is start up again then quit!

To take my mind off the June n Peaches story in the hands of others, because obsessing is rarely a good thing, I started a fun little project that is completely different. No wizards, no cats, no bad government agency, none at all. This is in a different world, where a crazy physics Professor invents a weather machine and proceeds to get his revenge on the small town that treated him so badly for the last twenty years.
I have no idea if it's marketable, all the 1950s adventure stories may show up one night to get their revenge, and the James Bond books have all been done, but gawd if writing this isn't fun. My protag is an arrogant young pup newbie reporter at a small town newspaper who thinks he's too big for this two-bit town. Here, see for yourself,
